Under the Health Practitioners Regulation law no nurse is to practice unless they know that they have appropriate professional indemnity insurance. Commonly nurses that are employed by public, private and day hospitals etc will be covered under their employers insurances. One of the most common questions we get asked at the recruitment stage is “What insurances do I need to carry and how do I obtain them”?

As a Kemp agency nurse, you do not need to hold any of your own insurances to be able to complete shifts with us. We make it hassle free and easy for you to start working with us by holding all the necessary insurances that you will need while on shift. These include public liability, professional indemnity insurance and workers compensation. All you need to do is make sure that your shift is booked in on your app, that the start and finish time is correct and that if you have any issues whilst on shift you notify our bookings team straight away.
